A sensational promotion, unforgettable emotions, and another season together – SEEN Technologie once again becomes the Gold Sponsor of KPS Płock
Following the historic promotion of the Volleyball Club in Płock to the PLS 1st League, SEEN Technologie has decided to continue its cooperation with the local volleyball club by once again assuming the role of the club’s Gold Sponsor for the 2026/2027 season. The new agreement continues the partnership initiated in 2024 and forms part of the company’s long-term strategy of supporting valuable local initiatives. Sport, as a field that fosters teamwork, determination, and consistency, holds an important place in the corporate social responsibility policy implemented by SEEN Technologie.
The past season has gone down in the history of Płock volleyball in golden letters. The team led by head coach Marcin Lubiejewski secured promotion to the PLS 1st League, achieving the greatest success in the club’s history. KPS Płock finished the regular season of the 2nd League in first place and then advanced through a series of highly emotional playoff matches, proving both their sporting quality and character.
One of the most memorable moments of the season was the dramatic rivalry against ProNutiva SKK Belsk Duży, which ended with a KPS victory in the decisive fifth match played in front of their home crowd. The encounter, lasting over two and a half hours, delivered tremendous excitement for the fans, while key performances came from Bruno Romanutti, Jakub Dobrolubow, Dawid Bulira, and Przemysław Czado.
In the later stage of the season, the Płock team defeated Volley Jelcz-Laskowice and Karpaty Krosno, advancing to the final tournament in Wieluń. There, KPS sensationally defeated the host team and main promotion favorite, WKS Wieluń, 3–0, and then secured promotion to the PLS 1st League after a dramatic 3–2 tie-break victory over Energa Trefl II Gdańsk. The Gdańsk squad also featured Mariusz Wlazły – a legend of Polish volleyball and world champion – who supported the team alongside his son Arkadiusz.
The continuation of cooperation between SEEN Technologie and KPS Płock marks another stage of the Company’s commitment to the development of the region. The company’s presence in Płock is closely linked to the implementation of one of the most important industrial investments in Poland – the construction of a state-of-the-art Vistula River Water Treatment and Demineralization Plant at the ORLEN S.A. Production Facility. With a value exceeding one billion PLN, the project is among the largest water and wastewater infrastructure developments currently underway in Central and Eastern Europe. Supporting local sport is an integral part of SEEN Technologie’s strategy, based on active engagement in the development of the communities in which the Company carries out its key projects.
– The historic success achieved by KPS Płock last season is the best proof of the importance of consistency, determination, and the collective effort of everyone involved with the club – players, coaching staff, management, and supporters alike. We are proud that, as SEEN Technologie, we can continue supporting a team that, through its attitude and sporting spirit, has become a symbol of local ambition and pride for the entire region. Promotion to the PLS 1st League is an exceptional achievement, but at the same time it marks the beginning of a new chapter and further challenges ahead. We believe the club faces a very important season that will allow Płock volleyball to continue developing and strengthen its position on the map of Polish sport – said Dariusz Jasak, President of the Management Board of SEEN Technologie.
The upcoming season will mark KPS Płock’s historic debut at the second-highest level of Polish volleyball, just below the PlusLiga, and at the same time will present a major organizational and sporting challenge. Thanks to the support of sponsors, the club will be able to continue developing its infrastructure, training facilities, and initiatives promoting volleyball among children and young people.
– The continuation of our cooperation with SEEN Technologie is of tremendous importance to our club and represents a key element of KPS Płock’s further development. Since the beginning of our partnership, we have been able to count not only on genuine financial support, but also on a relationship built on mutual trust, stability, and a shared vision of building a strong brand for Płock volleyball. The historic promotion to the PLS 1st League is a huge success for the entire sporting community in our city, but we see it above all as the beginning of a new stage. We are facing further organizational and sporting challenges, which is why the support of such a responsible and committed partner is especially valuable to us. Our goal is the continued development of the club, the professionalization of its structures, and representing Płock with pride on the national stage – emphasized Arkadiusz Jóźwiak, President of the Management Board of KPS Płock.
The sponsorship agreement will remain in force until April 30, 2027, covering the club’s historic debut season in the PLS 1st League.
