ASOS™ – Automatic Supervision & Optimization Service, developed by a team of technologists and engineers at SEEN Technologie with more than thirty years of industry experience, has been awarded the title Innovation of the Year 2025 in the Energy and Technology category in the prestigious Diamonds of Innovation competition, held as part of the Executive Innovation Forum.

Digital twin – a faithful representation of a real installation

At the heart of the ASOS™ system is a digital twin – a mathematical model that reflects all technological processes: mechanical, biological, and chemical, along with their interdependencies. The system analyzes data in real time, compares it with the results of numerical simulations, and automatically selects optimal operating parameters. Thanks to this, the system can react faster than a human, and every decision is made based on multiple variables and validated forecasts.

The results of conducted tests confirm the effectiveness of the solution – the system enables reducing energy consumption by up to 30%, lowering chemical usage, increasing biogas production, and maintaining full operational stability under varying hydraulic loads and pollutant concentrations.

The team responsible for developing the system consists of employees of the company’s Kraków branch, including, among others, Dr. Eng. Bogusław Buczak – Proxy and Director of the Process Engineering Department, and Dr. Karol Trojanowicz – Technologist in the Process Engineering Department at SEEN Technologie.
