This is how the wastewater treatment plant of the future is built – we are developing a modern installation for a client in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship
We are back with another update from the construction site of a project we are delivering for one of our new clients from the processing industry, operating a manufacturing facility in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
The project encompasses a comprehensive scope of works related to the construction of an on-site wastewater treatment plant. The final installation will integrate anaerobic and aerobic processes, enabling effective treatment of industrial wastewater and the production of biogas, which will be used as a renewable energy source in the client’s manufacturing processes.
Over the past three months, the core civil works have been completed. Foundation slabs have been constructed for the key facilities of the investment, including the process building, the MBBR tank, the buffer tank, the acidification tank, the anaerobic reactor, and the sludge tank. In parallel, two condensate wells, a post-dissolved air flotation wastewater pumping station, and a leachate pumping station have been completed. All structures have been founded indirectly on CSC displacement columns, installed to reinforce the subsoil and ensure the stable and safe operation of the installation.
The project is currently in the structural works phase. At the process building, installation of the prefabricated filigree slab is underway, while reinforcement works are being carried out simultaneously on the walls of the MBBR tank. Reinforcement works are also in progress for the foundation slab of the blower station and the desulfurization unit. In addition, a pressure pipeline approximately 300 meters long has been completed using a trenchless method, constituting a key element of the project’s technological system.
In the coming weeks, works related to the construction of external networks will commence, including biogas, water supply, process heat, and raw wastewater pipelines. Organizational and procurement activities are being conducted in parallel, covering the finalization of orders for equipment, fittings, and other technological components, as well as ongoing arrangements related to the future commissioning of the facilities.
