From 16–18 June, Warsaw hosted the 11th Seminar “Operation of Waste-to-Energy Plants – Experiences”. Our company was represented by Krzysztof Pacierpnik, Sales Director, and Tomasz Płatek, Key Accounts Director. The event provided participants with an opportunity to explore the latest trends, challenges, and best practices related to the operation of waste-to-energy (WtE) facilities.
The seminar covered a wide range of topics, including:
– planned maintenance shutdowns and plant modernization projects,
– management of bottom ash, fly ash, and other process residues,
– operation of flue gas treatment systems,
– emissions monitoring and environmental compliance requirements,
– occupational health and safety and fire protection,
– innovations and implementations driven by operational experience,
– organization and management of maintenance services in WtE facilities.
The greatest value of the event, however, lay in the direct meetings and discussions with representatives of waste-to-energy (WtE) plants, local authorities, and technology partners. It provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, gain insight into current market needs, and build business relationships that may lead to future projects and contracts. Another important element of the seminar was a technical visit to the Warsaw Energy Recovery Facility, one of the most advanced waste-to-energy plants in Poland.

We are pleased to have been part of a gathering that brought together industry experts and practitioners to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore the future of the sector.
