Krakowski Holding Komunalny awarded for implementing a heat recovery system from exhaust gases, carried out by SEEN Technologie!

It is worth mentioning that this investment was distinguished in 2023 in the "Modernization of the Year 2023" competition organized by the "Nowa Energia" Publishing House. The installation launched in June 2023 at the Thermal Waste Conversion Plant in Krakow is a project that has achieved a number of significant benefits. The production of thermal energy has been increased without the need to burn more waste. Additionally, the emission of carbon dioxide and other parameters has been reduced, contributing to the improvement of air quality. The installation has also lowered the temperature of flue gases released into the atmosphere, minimizing their negative impact on the environment. Furthermore, water consumption from the water supply network has been reduced by approximately 50,000 m³ annually, which is another step towards sustainable management of natural resources. Such solutions are already widely used in many European countries, especially in Scandinavia, where they are recognized for their efficiency and positive environmental impact. The award in the #ekoLEADERS2024 competition is evidence that an innovative approach to environmental protection has a real impact on the quality of life and the future of our planet.
