Mlekovita Group Biofermentation Plant: key project 2024 completed by SEEN Technologie
Mlekovita Group, the largest dairy group in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced record financial results for 2024, exceeding the PLN 10 billion revenue threshold for the first time in its history.
The total value of the Group's completed investments amounted to PLN 188 million, of which the largest and strategically most important project was the construction of a modern, energy-independent Biofermentation Plant in Wysokie Mazowieckie. The investment was carried out by SEEN Technologie, acting as General Contractor.
The plant, which opened in May 2024, is a key element of Milekovita Group sustainable development strategy. Thanks to it, the Cooperative has significantly increased the efficiency of sludge and by-product management, such as waste and concentrated whey, while reducing the environmental footprint of its operations. Effects include: high quality of treated wastewater, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions due to the generation of green energy, and minimization of waste generated in production and wastewater treatment processes.
The facility is equipped with an advanced, energy-efficient and automated methane digestion plant that is simple to operate, enabling biogas production and energy recovery. This solution further contributes to reducing operating costs and transforming the treatment plant into a green energy and revenue-generating facility.
Mlekovita emphasizes the importance of this investment both in internal documents, such as the Sustainability Report, and in extensive external communications. The Biofermentation Plant has been identified as the largest and most important project of 2024, which is a clear statement of confidence for SEEN Technologie.
