Mlekpol invests in the future – 50% of energy from RES by 2030. How does our fermentation plant support the Cooperative in achieving this ambitious goal?

20 March 2025

The latest issue of Podlaski Menager features an article with Tadeusz Mroczkowski, the President of the Board of Mlekpol Dairy Cooperative. The article addresses the key challenges facing the dairy industry, particularly in the context of sustainable development and energy transformation. One of the examples of Mlekpol’s initiatives in this area is the fermentation installation with a biogas section, launched in 2023, at the company's wastewater treatment plant in Grajewo.

We are proud to have had the opportunity to implement the first project of this type at Mlekpol’s production facilities. It represents another step towards the cooperative's goal of covering 50% of the energy demand of all its production plants with renewable sources by 2030.

The project was executed as a "turnkey" solution, which included:

  • Preparation of detailed design documentation;
  • Delivery and installation of technological equipment;
  • Delivery and installation of the anaerobic reactor;
  • Delivery and installation of piping;
  • Delivery and installation of measurement devices and fittings;
  • Construction, electrical work, and control system;
  • Commissioning of the installation and team training.

The industry faces significant challenges, but it is also a time of innovation and change, which will shape the future of Polish dairy. We are pleased to play a key role in this transformation by offering proven and effective technological solutions.
